Squirrel Hills Trail Park
Join us as we work toward building Minnedosa’s first professionally designed and built trail system.
Oxbow Trails + Bison Compound
Surrounded by birds, beavers and the sound of crashing water, this area beneath the Minnedosa Dam is just a short walk from downtown.
Cross Country Ski Trails
For 30+ years, Minnedosa has been home to novice and advanced cross country ski trails found at the Squirrel Hills Recreation Area.
Valley Life Recreation acknowledges that our community trails exist on Treaty 2 Territory, on the traditional lands of Rolling River, a Treaty 4 nation, as well as the homeland of the Métis Nation.
We dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation, collaboration, education and acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past.
Come ride, hike, run, snowshoe, fat bike and walk with us. Social group events for all skill levels occur weekly.
Trails are maintained for use during all four seasons. Please watch for snowshoe and fat bike signage during the winter months.
